10 Things I Hate About You
Season 1, Episode 11: Da Reprecussions
Review by: Ian

Episode Recap:
Following the series of events from the fall finale of last year, Kat (Lindsey Shaw) is still suspended, and Bianca (Meaghan Jette Martin) tries to keep the secret from Chastity (Dana Davis) that she is dating Joey (Chris Zylka). Kat and Patrick Verona (Ethan Peck) break into the school so she can take a test and not get a 0 on her suspension day. Bianca and Joey must make peace with Cameron (Nicholas Braun), (who is still a little mad at Bianca for saying that she doesn't feel the same way towards him) in order for him to not give the tape of Bianca and Joey kissing to Chastity. Mr. Stratford (Larry Miller) goes to the school after Principal Holland catches Kat and Ethan and stands up for Kat, who stood up for her rights when walking out on school after their uniform/security policy was introduced and he gets Kat cleared of the bad things on her permanent record.

Episode Review:
While this episode was a little too romantic for my taste, it was an excellent spring premiere. Obviously this show is the best thing ABC Family has ever done. It had some great comedic lines in the show and proved that it isn't a drama at all. I really like the character of Principal Holland (Suzy Nakamura) who's dead pan way of bringing her character to life is always hilarious
"She's in her more than the kid who keeps randomly biting everyone's necks!" - Principal Holland regarding Kat going to her Office.
At least the show doesn't make Joey seem that unconvincingly dumb, I mean, he had a few lines which were like "Really? You had to write that for comedic effect?" but there other lines like when he implied that he thought Bolivia was in Africa that were hilarious. As much as I want Joey and Bianca to stay together, it's pretty obvious that they're not going anywhere, and that Bianca is magically going to fall in love with Cameron since he is shunning her. I hate it when that happens. Here's hoping that for once, the love interests NEVER end up together.

Episode Grade: B+
