UNITED STATES OF TARA
SEASON 2, EPISODE 3: THE TRUTH HURTS

EPISODE RECAP:
As Kate (Brie Larson) grows closer to Lynda P. Frasier, one of her clients at her new job, Marshall (Keir Gilchrist) experiments with his new girlfriend. Neil (Patton Oswalt) finds out Charmaine (Rosemarie DeWitt) is getting married after Max (John Corbett) kept the secret from him.
Tara (Toni Collette) tries to imitate Buck so she can end things with the girl that he's seeing right now, but instead, Tara tells her the truth, and after Pammy (the girl) follows her to her house, the family decides to go ice skating, where Pammy announces the truth over the intercom, in front of everyone. Max realizes that Tara's alters are out again, and he's extremely mad at Tara for keeping the secret from him.

EPISODE REVIEW:
All of the things that we've grown to love about this series have started changing. We have seen too much of Buck, and nothing of Alice, Gimme or T this season. The producers of this show have to realize that the entertaining part of the show is her alters, nobody likes it when its just a Tara centric episode. It's the United States of Tara, people, STATES is the plural form of STATE (aka the show revolves around her alters also).
I know for a fact the next episode a new alter comes out, but I have yet to find out if we will be seeing Gimme or T this season. It pains me to know that Showtime keeps on forgetting their past characters.
Also, this episode was way too inappropriate for my liking. With all the sex term slang and the sexual references, the first season's inappropriate-ness was nowhere NEAR this season's so far.

OVERALL EPISODE GRADE: C+
